Kati Gibler
Kati Gibler is a 1st degree IBJJF black belt under Gracie Humaita Professor Mica Cipili, USJF and USA judo Sandan under Robert Brink, USJF Self Defense Instructor, USJF Bronze level Coach, Judo Kata and Self Defense Director of 49th State Judo and Head Sensei at El Camino Judo and Self Defense (2010 to 2022).
Kati began Judo in 1989 in order to help her small son to overcome a timid nature and bullying in school. Love of the sport and strong desire to compete led both Kati and her son to earn black belts. After moving to Las Vegas Kati began training in Brazilian Jiu jitsu under Professor Mica Cipili in 2009. Kati ran a USJF judo program at Gracie Humaita Las Vegas for 10 years teaching children and adults both judo and take downs for Jiu jitsu competition before moving to Sandia Park. Kati also holds an MS in Geosciences and works as a minerals exploration consulting geologist.
